Celebrating My 100th Blog Post

Image
Well, we made it! This is my 100th blog post! I can't believe I've the big 1-0-0 on my blog. Big things are happening this year, despite the craziness we experienced as a country. Maybe we should go on a trip down memory lane, and remember how/why I started this blog. It feels like yesterday when I started this blog. After I heard Will Witt speak at the University of Florida, I became inspired to get involved in politics. Like my bio says, our country will be lost unless conservatives speak out and stand up. I remember telling my mom out of the blue that I'm starting a political blog. She and my dad were very happy to see me take such an interest in politics. My introduction post was well received. Popularity on this blog didn't grow right away. Just like my Twitter. I used to get around 30-40 views on my blog, and I only had around 100-200 followers on Twitter. Soon enough, my following grew. I started connecting with like-minded patriots, and found my writing style f…

Attending A Trump Rally

Image
Hello! This guest post is my third for Young Patriot Rising. Thank you! (My first explained why I left the Democrats, and second was a book review of Rules for Radicals.)https://youngpatriotrising.blogspot.com/2019/11/why-i-left-democrats.htmlhttps://youngpatriotrising.blogspot.com/2020/01/rules-for-radicals.htmlI'm a black woman, an American, a patriot, a conservative, an independent thinker, and a conservative book lover. My blog is Conservative Book Reviews. https://www.conservativebookreviews.com In 2016, I lived in Chicago. By that time, I had left the Democrats and became a Republican. I was also 100 percent in support of Donald Trump. (None of my leftist neighbors knew that.) Trump, who was running for President against Crooked Hillary, tried to hold a MAGA rally in Chicago, but the crazy leftists prevented him from doing so. However, later on in 2016, I learned that Trump was having a rally in Toledo, Ohio. So I traveled the four hours to attend. The media had repeated, ove…

The Abortion Industry Profits Off Human Trafficking

Image
“It’s time for Christians around the world to take a stand, to raise our voices and say, 'No more.' No more will we allow girls and boys, many of whom are just children, to be bought and sold as if they were just products for someone else’s personal gain. Their value is priceless, and they are not for sale.” -Tim TebowWhat does the abortion industry and human trafficking have in common? They both profit off of human misery. Nobody ever focuses on how abortion clinics fail to report human trafficking cases, and if anything, empower the trafficker. Most traffickers force their victims to get an abortion if they become pregnant. In some cases, it’s multiple abortions. The media never discusses this tragedy, nor do our elected officials. Human trafficking and prolife issues are two extremely important topics for me. In this article, I’d like to expose how the abortion industry profits off human trafficking.Human traffickers are among the scum of the earth. One of the main risks fo…

Sylvester Stallone's Take On Success

Image
Author's note: I decided to take a break from politics for this post. We could all use it! Keep the Stallone family in your thoughts because Sylvester's mother recently passed away.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that!" ~Sylvester Stallone in…

Everyone Should Be Talking About Human Trafficking

Image
Human trafficking is a serious crime. Unfortunately, it never receives the attention it should. Most of us know the media prioritizes certain stories over others to push their narrative. The media will focus on Covid-19 24/7, but never focus on the pandemic of human trafficking. I wanted to write about this, since recently, Tim Tebow, his wife, Bill Barr, and Ivanka Trump recently announced that Trump's administration will give over $100 million to helping the victims of human trafficking. As if I didn't need another reason to love Tim Tebow! Seeing him passionate about human trafficking, like I am, is amazing.Human trafficking involves the "use of force or coercion to obtain some labor or commercial sex act." Many of these victims are young children and women. It's an evil business that profits off of human misery. Kind of like the abortion industry, which I will discuss later. 2.3 million - 27 million people are trafficked worldwide; 80% of the victims are wome…

Conservative Pundits I Met

Image
I thought I could share who I have met in the political/conservative world, and what my thoughts are on them. Charlie Kirk: I have mixed feelings on Charlie. Mainly that he is involved in politics for popularity alone. He gave me the vibe of "stuck-up." My sister and I got our picture taken with him at YWLS, then the girls behind us were so excited, they couldn't decide who should go. Next thing I know, I hear Charlie yelling "Come on guys. I don't have all day. Let's do this already." I thought that was very rude because these people are supporting you, and that's how you'll treat them? I heard something similar about people meeting Candace Owens. I think Charlie says some good stuff when it comes to politics, but I'm not the biggest fan of his.Dan Crenshaw: Not a fan of Dan after his take on red flag laws. I didn't really get to speak with him when we met because it was a quick photo op, then we had to keep moving. But let's just sa…

Who Is The Party of Minorities?

Image
One of the main myths from the Left is that they are the party of minorities, while Republicans are racists who hate minorities. Is that true? Do Republicans hate minorities? Of course not! Democrats always use this claim that Republicans/conservatives/any right-wingers are racist. "Republican is the party of straight white men." I hate hearing these statements, because they're 100% false. If anything, Republicans are the party of minorities, and Democrats aren't. After participating in an article for Future Female Leaders, I thought I could discuss my thoughts on who is really the party of minorities.Let's first take a look at history of how Republicans have championed for minorities, compared to Democrats. Who opposed freeing the slaves? Democrats. Which party freed the slaves? Republicans. Which party created the KKK? Democrats. Who fought the KKK? Republicans. Who created Jim Crow law? Democrats. Who opposed these laws? Republicans. Ironically, guess who call…
